No.7 Tai O Market Street constructed in the early 1930s. It is located at Tai O Market Street, the busiest economic centre at Tai O. Together with No.9, No.11, No.13, they are a row of four adjacent Balcony Type Shophouses constructed in the early 1930s. They are all two stories high with cantilever balconies of same style at first floor level. The ground levels of the shophouses are shops, whilst the upper levels are for resident ial use. They are geographically close to a number of other old buildings within easy walking distance.
The Nos.7, 9, 11, & 13 Tai O Market Street was declared a Grade 2 Historic Building by
the Antiquities and Monuments Office on 10 Sept 2013.
